About Us

 Studio Astra interior design was founded by Melanie Baker and Katherine Mason after they worked together for over a decade at a high-end London interior design studio.  Working on both residential and commercial projects, they have taken this expertise and formed a studio where the focus is to create well thought-through interiors, with comfort and the client’s individual needs at the forefront.​

How We Work

Based in London and Surrey, we take on projects of all types and sizes, specialising in both private residential and boutique commercial projects.  We offer a full end-to-end design service as well as offering support for specific stages, including the following services:

 

  • Spatial planning, flooring layouts & technical drawings

  • Lighting design & specification

  • Bespoke joinery & furniture design

  • Kitchen & bathroom design

  • Sourcing, scheduling & procurement of all items

  • Colour consultancy

Working closely with a wide range of trusted suppliers and craftspeople we ensure there is always an emphasis on quality, comfort & practicality.
